Skeleton Bob

by Mr Wu's Pigs

/

lyrics

skeleton bob lived in a cave;
he’d been there ever since that day
they took him down to the waterside
and peeled every last piece of skin and muscle
from his hide.

the children in the village all knew the tale
of a sick motherfucker down in the vale.
the things he did to kids no one really knew
cos they never came back to say if
it was true.

the stories went that he’d pick them up
after sunday school in a big ol’ truck.
he’d take them down to his underground lair;
no one would ever hear them
scream down there.

locals said bob used their skin for clothes:
fewer kids disappeared as temperatures rose.
but come the winter months and the need for heat,
he’d be swiping those little loved ones right
off their feet.

skeleton bob wasn’t skinny or lean;
he was a fat old bastard and real mean.
but when the mothers and the fathers all took their toll,
they stripped his bones white clean and dumped him
in a hole.

his heart still beating in his chest,
organs intact – oh, heavens be blessed!
left to live out his days in pain,
like the mothers and the fathers who never saw their
kids again.
